We Roar Together – Day 3
“We Roar. Together – Day 3.” The theme is designed to bring attention to Norton City School’s strategic plan addressing mental health, anti-bullying, and overall wellness in children with the focus on discussions, activities, and educational programming designed to enhance the life of every one of their students.
Day 3 of the We Roar Together initiative for the 2021-2022 school year was planned for February 18th, however due to school closings have been moved to February 25th. The entire district was wearing their We Roar shirts and participating in activities related to the the We Roar Together initiative.

At Norton Elementary as part of a Make Yourself Better, Make Your School Better, Make Your Community Better project. The children painted beautiful and cool rocks to share with the important people and business in the lives of their district including Fred Martin Superstore. The children surprised our team with their wonderfully designed rocks, thank you letters, and for stopping in at the dealership alongside their teacher on Day 3 of the We Roar Together initiative.

Fred Martin Superstore began their involvement with Norton City Schools “We Roar. Together.” In 2019 when the theme was first announced. After a hiatus last year, Norton City Schools has resurrected the initiative and doubled down on their efforts to improve the wellbeing of their students. Anxiety, depression, and job loss stemming from the COVID-19 Pandemic has shined an even brighter light on the need for programs like this.
Norton’s staff works diligently and consistently on two student characteristics that are believed to be healthy for the students — Strength and Warmth. These will anchor their team’s approach to supporting and equipping each child in a manner that benefits them most. “We Roar” represents strength, and “Together” represents warmth. Our team is happy to be a part of this, and as one of the children has said that visited us on Day 3; “We know you know cars, but you also know the good of community involvement.”. We are happy to hear that.
