I was attempting an online purchase for a van for my
I was attempting an online purchase for a van for my wife. We are over 3 hours away. I called and spoke with a salesperson, who did a great job, and asked some questions as we were not there. I specifically was worried about tires, as they were shown by Carfax to be original. I asked if they were replaced, as I didn't want to pay their asking price if it had low tires. They specifically told me they were replaced and new... I purchased the van, went thru all the paper work, and something in my gut told me to doublecheck the tires.. Sure enough... they were just rotated and balanced and 50% life left. I asked for them to replace tires as they said, but they refused. I had to cancel the deal, more about they're mis-representation than any thing else. Then to top it off, I used my Chrysler reward points. They cancelled those after the fact, but now I have to wait over 30 days for them to be credited back to me... I now know why car dealerships have such bad reps... What a waste over a set of tires... It may seem trivial, but it was my hot button... This could have easily been a 5 star review, but when you mis-represent something, face up to it, make it right, and move on... My salesperson Lisa, did her best, but it was above her paygrade unfortunately...

He was absolutely wonderful, low-key, very informative, a perfectionist in quality, spent a lot of time teaching me about features. Then after I bought it he filled up the gas tank!! In my 51 years of car buying, no company has never done that! Rhonda in financing was great too! Bravo Fred Martin in obtaining and retaining these employees! I will never go anywhere else and will recommend Mike to everyone I know who is looking to buy a new or used car!

Update 11/21/2024 - Went to Speedy and had a oil change and tire rotation done the other day and everything went fantastic like normal. They even cleaned the spot where the old oil change sticker was on the windshield that left glue on the windshield with windex and placed the new one in the spot it was. Going beyond the normal service garage does! Great job Team Fred Martin! Always pleased with their service and professionalism.

Terrible customer service, I made an appointment 10 days out to get four (4) “critical” recalls completed on my 2018 Ram 3500, I picked this time because my wife was out of town and I would be able to use her car, after four (4) days the Fred Martin dealership had not even started on my recall items, I had to pick the truck up with ZERO recalls being completed. I believe because I didn’t buy the truck from them that I went to the back of the line, I moved here a year ago from out of state and some day in the short future I will replace this truck but I doubt it will be from Fred Martin RAM, would you buy anything from these guys after being blown off for factory recall issues to include faulty wheel studs that hold the tires and rims on the truck. Not sure if this is how they operate on a daily basis but my first impression was a BIG disappointment!!! Bill Miller

I hate even giving this place 1 star. Absolute SNAKES and SCAMMERS. Purchased a new Jeep after trading in our Mercedes. 2 months later they inform us THEY made an error with the payoff amount and that we would need to come up with another $7,000 or they would stick us with 2 car payments. The way JOHN RIZZOTTO spoke to my wife was disgusting and reprehensible. Now they want us to return the car and take our old one back. Seems fishy to me! Do not trust anything they tell you!

Best dealer in Ohio! This is from someone who travels cross country and have dealt with different dealers in different states. You should work with Jeremy Wootan, who I would like to call the "car whisperer" 😃he knows so much about the industry and the type of car that is best for you and can magically find just what you're looking for within the first day of sitting with you. He also came recommended from a previous buyer who was elated with their experience. He does low pressure sales and does not try and get you to get something that is outside of your price range or budget range. I had planned to go to three different dealerships but didn't even bother with the other two once I went to Fred Martin. Most of their cars have an amazing warranty - free oil changes and a lifetime warranty which means they know you will be coming back so that means they are selling you a good car. You also get to look at the entire Carfax report while there, he also explained how you could tell by looking at the Carfax whether someone was a street driver or highway driver and if that person properly maintained their car. This may be common knowledge for some, but helpful for people who don't usually use Carfax. Jeremy Wootan diligently explained the entire sales process and all the details and the final price was just one easy lump sum to understand. I am so happy with my new purchase I will refer anyone who asks as well as people who don't ask to select Jeremy Wootan as their Fred Martin representative.

They gave us the best car buying experience that I have ever had in my life and at 75 YOA, I have had many. They were always friendly, curteous, caring, and patient during our experience with them. I'm not sure whether the Finance Department is considered part of the sales team or not, but there are a couple of things that could have expedited and made the experience even better. One thing is that they should ALWAYS do is identify who they are immediately in verbal communications. They do in written communications, so they should in verbal as well. I never had that problem with the sales personnel. The other thing they should ALWAYS do is to verify the email address with the customer before sending any emails (especially documents). That mistake could have saved the two extra days that it cost in the transaction. Other than that, I still say it was THE BEST experience that I have had and I would recommend the Fred Martin Superstore for anyone who needs to purchase a vehicle.

I came for a simple oil change tire rotation and a
I came for a simple oil change tire rotation and a shifter error. I was told I would be kept up to date all day. I dropped off at 730 am appointment and had to Text Taylor at 2 to check on it after hearing nothing. Apparently since I did not say I needed it back it just got pushed to the side car had to be left over night and in the morning told him I was coming to get it and still had to wait for the oil change and tire rotation. Fred Martin needs to be the example for all dealers, used and new. If all dealers offered and had as many opportunities as Fred Martin, they would be a lot more successful. They Started from a tiny little struggling used car dealer and blew up to being, in my eyes, the best new and used dealer around… having a bad day? Just go there and look at vehicles and let the salesmen or women come talk to you in good energy and happy vibes and you’ll walk away in a better mood at least.. i highly suggest Kelli Slavens, she totally changed my negative outlook on salesmen

We wanted to look at a used car, but spent more time answering questions about the payment we wanted and how much we were putting as a down payment. They would not even negotiate on the price, they would not work with us after spending 2 hours there. Rob, the sales manager had an attitude, was very rude and said take it or leave it, so we left. Now, 2 days later they want to negotiate the price. Too late, we went somewhere else and bought a car. Terrible customer service.

Do not buy vehicle from theses guys.I wish I didn’t .Go anywhere else. I would give them 0 stars Really just truly awful experience. Got taken for a ride basically.The prices and interest rate they advertise isn’t what you get. My credit score is 850 and finance guy told me best he could do was 7% interest rate.. I told him Chrysler financial was offering 3.99% He got an attitude right away and started mansplaining to me about banking and interest rates.I was at this dealership for 6 hrs and was treated like garbage whole time I was there.Only bright spot was my salesman Brandon was awesome but the management there are horrible .Save yourself the stress and anger I had to go through for 6 hrs because of this place . Now I have to go to another lender and refinance to get a decent interest rate. I should have got up and left and I regret not doing that. I have bought several new vehicles over the years and have never in my life been treated so badly . Really really wish I would have went to another dealership.Just trying to warn people about this place. Go anywhere else Really just don’t go here .

As I said in my first review, the sales team (especially Kelli Slavens) went above and beyond what I truly expected from them. They gave us the best car buying experience that I have ever had in my life and at 75 YOA, I have had many. They were always friendly, curteous, caring, and patient during our experience with them. I'm not sure whether the Finance Department is considered part of the sales team or not, but there are a couple of things that could have expedited and made the experience even better. One thing is that they should ALWAYS do is identify who they are immediately in verbal communications. They do in written communications, so they should in verbal as well. I never had that problem with the sales personnel. The other thing they should ALWAYS do is to verify the email address with the customer before sending any emails (especially documents). That mistake could have saved the two extra days that it cost in the transaction. Other than that, I still say it was THE BEST experience that I have had and I would recommend the Fred Martin Superstore for anyone who needs to purchase a vehicle.

I just didn’t like how was told everything had to be listed but they kept insisting on putting a 135 dollar charge on some phantom fee that never heard of before onto the cost of my vehicle if had to be shown then why was that fee not listed on my contract instead of the price of the vehicle. If it was a separate fee it should have been on the contract just like all the other fees they have to charge that’s why they could wave it or add it to the cost of the car. Hence a phantom fee that I still don’t know why I was charged and why if I had to pay it was was it added to the cost of the car and not separate

This company violates Ohio Administrative Code /109:4 /Chapter 109:4-3 | Deceptive Acts or Trade Practices in Connection with Consumer Transactions Bait Advertising. They advertise perks for cars in their website, I confirmed with the salesman multiple times that the perks applied to the vehicle I was interested in. Then when I went to sign the deal informed that the perks do not apply nor would they honor the website or verbal confirmation. Do NOT purchase anything from them!
