🐾 Humane Society of Summit County

For over 25 years, our dealerships have proudly provided all of the food used by the Humane Society of Summit County, located on Darrow Road in Twinsburg. This incredible organization is dedicated to rescuing and advocating for abused, neglected, and abandoned animals.

🌟 Make-A-Wish Foundation

Fred Martin Auto Group proudly supports Make-A-Wish®, helping bring life-changing joy to children facing critical illnesses. Because every child deserves to experience hope, strength, and happiness.

🐾 Feed, Spay, Love

Founded by our own comptroller, Margaret Kinsinger, Feed, Spay, Love is a nonprofit rescue that saves and rehabilitates animals in need. The organization also performs trap-neuter-return efforts for feral cat populations in the Akron area — all funded by generous donations.

🏫 Norton City Schools – We Roar. Together.

In 2019, we joined Norton City Schools to support the We Roar. Together. mental health and wellness campaign. Our $10,000 donation provided shirts for nearly 3,000 students, teachers, and staff, promoting unity, anti-bullying, and emotional well-being.

We’re proud to continue supporting this initiative with new mentors, mental health professionals, and school-wide programs fostering a culture of love and support.

🚓 D.A.R.E. Programs

Fred Martin Auto Group has donated over 20 D.A.R.E. vehicles to local law enforcement agencies, including the Norton Police Department, Hartville Police Department, and Summit County Sheriff’s Department — supporting drug education and prevention for our youth.

🎁 Toys for Tots

Each year, all Fred Martin locations participate in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, collecting thousands of toys from employees, customers, and community members to bring joy to children during the holidays.

🎗 Hyundai Hope on Wheels

Through every Hyundai sold, a portion is donated to Hyundai Hope on Wheels, benefiting pediatric cancer research. Since 1998, over $172 million has been raised to fund more than 800 research grants across the country — including Ohio.

🏠 ACCESS, Inc. – Supporting Women & Children

ACCESS, Inc. is a shelter for homeless women and children in Akron. We sponsor their popular annual fundraiser, “The Jewelry Box,” and in 2022, donated $10,000 to help them purchase a brand-new Ram 1500 truck for their operations.

🕊 Haven of Rest Ministries

We support Haven of Rest Ministries, a Christian nonprofit that provides food, clothing, shelter, and support for individuals and families in need throughout Akron and the surrounding counties.

🔔 The Salvation Army – Barberton

The Barberton Salvation Army has served the community since 1920 with programs like hot meals, shower facilities, holiday support, and emergency shelter. We’re proud to be a sponsor — and enjoy joining in the bell-ringing during the holidays!
