This trim builds upon the previous models with tinted rear windows, 18-inch alloy wheels, body-colored wheel arches, a 110-volt outlet in the center console, LED ambient footwell lighting, automatic headlights, the 7-inch touchscreen, additional USB ports, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Rubicon: The final trim in the Gladiator lineup is the ultra-capable Rubicon model. This trim comes with features like fenders with increased clearance, a lower crawl ratio, 33-inch all-terrain tires, body-protection skid plates and rock rails, locking front and rear differentials, Fox shock absorbers, and electronic disconnectable front stabilizer bar.
All trims offer the ability to be equipped with an auxiliary switch group with four openings, a nine-channel 552-watt amp and subwoofer, a semi-rigid roll-up tonneau cover, a spray-in bedliner, black hardtop with removable roof panels, LED headlights, premium Alpine sound system, a larger 8.4-inch infotainment system, and leather upholstery.
Two powertrains are available for the Gladiator lineup. The standard engine is the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission while an eight-speed automatic is available. If you are looking for a diesel engine, you are in luck! A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine will be available in 2020. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, creating 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The Gladiator is capable of towing up to 7,650 pounds and hauling 1,600 pounds, both best-in-class numbers!
