Trim Levels of the 2021 Jeep Gladiator
Written by Fred Martin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
The 2021 Gladiator mid-size pickup truck is basically a truck version of the ultra-popular Jeep Wrangler. It tows more (up to 7760 pounds versus 3500 pounds) than the Wrangler, and its longer wheelbase gives it a nice, stable ride. For 2021, the Gladiator comes with a new diesel engine, a 3.0-liter diesel V-6 capable of producing 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Four main trims are available for the Gladiator so continue reading as we go over each one.
The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport
Starting the Gladiators trim lineup is the Sport which offers a 5-foot bed and 4WD. This trim comes with two engine options. The first is a powerful 3.6-liter V6 that offers 285 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque and pairs with an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual. The other is the new 3.0-liter diesel-powered V6 that produces 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque and comes exclusively with the eight-speed automatic. The Sport comes with a manually adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, an eight-speaker audio system, and a 5-inch central infotainment display. Like its cousin the Wrangler, it also comes with a soft folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield.

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Overland
Next up is the Overland, which builds on the Sport trim with features such as automatic headlights, power windows, power door, and tailgate locks, heated power mirrors with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and automatic climate control. If you’re looking for a touch of luxury in your Jeep, the Overland has a bit of that too with things such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, two USB ports, and many other fine details.

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon
The most off-road capable of all the Gladiators is the mighty Rubicon. It comes with fenders designed for increased ground clearance, locking front and rear differentials, 33-inch tires, and FOX shock absorbers. For exceptionally capable off-roading, the 2021 Gladiators also come with an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar, body-protecting rock rails, and a special two-speed transfer case for optimized off-road gearing.

Also included with the Mojave are FOX internal bypass shocks with hydraulic jounce bumpers, a Desert Rated Badge instead of the Trail Rated one, and a 1-inch lift for the front suspension.
