Spreading the Holiday Spirit: The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree and Create-A-Christmas

October 27th, 2020 by

This year has been far from normal as we all continue to adjust to new safety policies and guidelines all across the nation. To keep everyone safe, many events were cancelled, delayed or changed to adapt to the ongoing pandemic.

Many of these events are huge fundraisers for some of our most beloved charities, which means that donations will not be anywhere near what these organizations have come to rely on.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree and Create-A-Christmas programs are going virtual to support children and families that are less fortunate this holiday. There will not be Angel Tree Tags hung on Trees around the community this year. Due to the pandemic, many families were impacted and children at risk of not having a Christmas. With all the negativity from this year and a New Year right around the corner, we could use some positivity. Share the Christmas spirit and the love of the human heart with others this winter. Support your community and those in need.

If you are looking to support children in need this Christmas we recommend donating to The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Every child (Angel) in the program is in need of a Christmas this holiday season. To become an Angel Tree Donor and to adopt an “Angel”, visit the following link to fill out the request form: https://tinyurl.com/BarbertonSalvationArmyTree

Also you can support families facing poverty, hunger or job loss this holiday. Rescue Christmas for a family that would have nothing otherwise. The need is greater this year than ever. Support The Salvation Army’s Create-A-Christmas program and adopt a family. Give them the light and hope of Christmas that they are not alone. Visit the following link to fill out the request form: https://tinyurl.com/BarbertonSalvationArmyCr8Cmas

At Fred Martin Superstore we continue to support these programs and will also be assisting those in need this holiday as well. Join us in spreading that Holiday Spirit.
