Introducing the 2018 Jeep® Compass

August 9th, 2017 by

It may be hard to believe, but we’re in August and the 2018 models of all your favorite FCA US LLC models are rolling off assembly lines and onto our lot at Fred Martin Superstore. And after a long wait, the highly-anticipated 2018 Jeep® Compass, is finally here. Drivers near Cleveland, OH shopping for an SUV that’s a tough-bodied compact crossover engineered to withstand bad weather and traverse rough terrain will want to head over to our dealership to check out the 2018 Jeep Compass.

The new 2018 Jeep Compass features a change in its appearance, now sitting on a stretched Jeep Renegade platform and looking somewhat similar to a smaller version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The four-door SUV comes in four different trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk®. As the name would suggest, the Trailhawk trim is trail-rated and comes standard with the Jeep Active Drive all-wheel-drive system. This system has a fully disconnecting front-wheel-drive mode, automatic engagement, and a variety web clutch in the rear drive module. Essentially, these high-tech features enable the vehicle to tackle the toughest of terrain.

For this year’s model of the Jeep Compass, the engineers at Jeep cut down on noise by using structural design as well as frame-under-glass door construction with triple seals and acoustic wheel well liners. Technology-wise, every version of the new Jeep Compass comes standard with an 8.4-inch Uconnect® touchscreen stereo option with 5- and 7-inch display screen options. The larger system includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, and navigation is also an available addition.

We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of what the 2018 Jeep Compass can do, so we invite you to take it for a spin at our dealership today.
