Fred Martin Superstore Cares: Our Community Involvement

November 17th, 2017 by

In addition to being one of the best-stocked auto dealerships in northern Ohio, Fred Martin Superstore is also a big part of the communities in which it operates. We recognize that our status as a successful business in the community gives us a responsibility to give back to the people who live and work in these places. Over the years, our Chrysler dealership in Barberton, OH has cultivated relationships with a number of local charitable organizations and is proud to give back.

With the holiday season quickly approaching, one of the groups that we support is the U.S. Marines Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program. This is a charitable organization whose goal is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and dedicate those gifts to less fortunate children in the Barberton, OH area. Over the many years that we’ve worked with them, thousands of toys have been donated by employees, community members, and everyday drivers like you. To get involved, simply contact our dealership to see how you can help.

Another local program that we work closely with is the D.A.R.E program, which works to positively influence children by educating them on the negative impacts of drug and alcohol abuse. In the past, we have dedicated “D.A.R.E. Mobile” vehicles to the Norton Police Department, the Hartville Police Department, and the Summit County Police Department, and we look forward to working with more towns in the future. Finally, we are also proud to sponsor the Humane Society of Summit County, providing all the food used by the facility throughout the year.

With the holiday season approaching, remember that Fred Martin Superstore cares.
