Can you tell me about 2021 Jeep Compass Limited and other Trims?
The subcompact Compass model is offered in four trim levels in the 2021 model year. The base Sport model is outfitted with standard features like both Apple and Android smartphone integration, a six-speaker sound system, USB ports in both the first and second rows, a 7-inch touchscreen, a rear bench seat with 60/40 split-folding, dual-zone automatic climate control, and steel wheels. The upper trim levels add automatic headlights, satellite radio, keyless entry and ignition, roof rails, alloy wheels, remote engine start, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The Trailhawk trim level is outfitted with hill descent control, tow hooks, underbody skid plates, a raised suspension, and off-road-oriented tires.
What about the engine lineup?
Each and every Compass model is powered by the same engine in the 2021 model year. This 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine pumps out up to 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The standard drivetrain configuration is front-wheel drive but four-wheel drive is optional for all Compass models except for the Trailhawk trim level which comes standard with four-wheel drive. The standard transmission for front-wheel-drive models is a six-speed automatic while a nine-speed automatic is the standard transmission for four-wheel-drive models.
Could you share more information about the Compass’ safety features?
When it comes to the Compass, safety features are incredibly important. In fact, there are a number of advanced driver safety aids offered throughout the trim levels. They include lane-keeping assist that can steer the Compass back into the lane if it drifts over the lane marker without signaling, forward collision warning with automatic braking that warns an impending collision and can even apply the brakes if necessary, and adaptive cruise control to maintain the driver-set distance between the Compass and vehicle ahead. Other safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, integrated navigation, xenon headlights, so much more!
