2020 Jeep Compass Power & Handling

Under the hood of every 2020 Compass model, drives will find the same capable engine. This 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir 2 4-cylinder engine is able to create up to 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. Jeep offers three transmission options for this engine depending on the model and drivetrain configuration. A six-speed manual transmission is standard for the Sport and Latitude models, other models with front-wheel drive can opt for a six-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive models can be outfitted with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Compass is capable of towing up to 2,000 pounds.

2020 Chevrolet Trax Power & Handling

There is also just one engine powering the entire Trax lineup in the 2020 model year. This 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine produces 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. The only transmission match for this engine is a 6-speed automatic. Front-wheel-drive is standard while all-wheel drive is offered for all trims.
