Coming standard for the 2020 Cherokee is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. Optional is a 3.2-liter V6 with 271 horsepower or a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 270 horsepower. A nine-speed automatic transmission comes standard with all engines. The Trailhawk comes standard with all-wheel-drive, while all other trims give you the option of either front-wheel or all-wheel-drive. When appropriately equipped, the Cherokee can tow up to 4,500 pounds, which are best in its class.
What are the notable features of the 2020 Cherokee?
Five trim levels are available for the 2020 Cherokee with the base Latitude coming with 17-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.
