Families have three Grand Caravan trim levels to choose from. The base trim level is called the SE and it comes outfitted with a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, triple-zone manual climate control with rear air conditioning, a rearview camera, a second-row bench seat, heated side mirrors, a 6-speaker audio system, and a 6.5-inch central touchscreen. This trim can be outfitted with the Uconnect Hands-Free Group package for Bluetooth, a USB port, and more! The upper trims, the SE Plus and the SXT, add fog lights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery with suede inserts, power-sliding rear doors, chrome exterior trim, a power liftgate, a larger floor console, and roof rails. There are a few more packages offered for these trims as well as rear-seat entertainment system.
What about the engine power?
The Grand Caravan is proficient and efficient! Under the hood of each Grand Caravan model, drivers will find a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces up to 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine is outfitted with Variable Valve Timing which enhances performance and combustion by adjusting the timing of the intake and exhaust valves. This results in an EPA estimated 25 miles per gallon on the highway! Dodge mates this powerful engine with an automatic six-speed transmission for smooth drives every time.
